Molly Wenk

Molly Wenk fell in love with eating as soon as she could chew. Born into a family that loved entertaining, her grandmother and mother taught her how to make elegant hors d’oeuvres as soon as she developed motor skills. Spending summers in the South of France, her familial influences were always French ones, working with seasonal ingredients, and incorporating flowers, herbs, and a touch of gold dust.

In 2012, Molly moved to New York to attend the French Culinary Institute in pastry arts. She started her professional career as a pastry cook at three Michelin star restaurant in New York, Jean Georges. After her tenure there was over, she went back to France and staged at the small local bakery from her childhood, where she learned everything about French breads and pastries. Upon her return to New York, she worked at Ron Ben Israel cakes before discovering the world of food media.

The ultimate dream came true when she was introduced to the world of Martha Stewart in 2016. There, she has worked on seasons seven- eleven of Martha Stewart's PBS television series, Martha Bakes. She’s traveled with Martha on her Food & Wine Festival, styled for magazine shoots, and hosted her own web series, Frosted, on the Martha Stewart IGTV channel. She’s also taken on personal projects for Ms. Stewart, helping with holiday parties, and being her private chef in Maine this past summer.

Molly also freelances at The Today Show as a food stylist, enjoying the fast pace of live television and the chance to cook mostly savory food. Other clients include Food Network, Epicurious, Food52, The Kitchn, Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, Postmates, delish.com, Good Housekeeping, and others.

With an expertise in baking, Molly has cultivated a sophisticated and approachable baking style, mastering classics with personal twists.
